2010 A Guide Book of United States Coins by Y.S. Yeoman – This is the standard reference on US coins. This book has been
published yearly since 1947.
Strike It Rich with Pocket Change – Error Coins Bring Big Money by Brian Allen and Ken Potter. This book goes into how error
coins are made andthe main varieties of errors.
The Expert’s Guide to Collecting & Investing in Rare Coins by Q. David Bowers. Another excellent book by Mr. Bowers. If you
want to get started in rare coin show investment then this is the book to have. The book goes into the history of the coin market how you
can profit for this unique investment opportunity.
The Official American Numismatic Association Grading Standards for United States Coins, 6th edition. Edited by Kenneth Bressett with narrative by Q. David Bowers.
This book has hundreds of pictures that help you grade all the standard issue US coins.
Gold Rush – How to Collect, Invest & Profit with Gold Coins Edited by Arlyn Sieber, Contributing Editor Mitchel Battino.
This book gives the history, pictures, grading information and pricing information for hundreds of commonly traded gold coins.
Standard Catalog of World Paper Money General Issues 1368-1960, 12th Edition. Edited by George Cuhaj. This is the
standard reference used by collectors and dealers for paper money up until 1960. The book contains over 15,000 listing of
currency from all parts of the world.
Complete Guide to Franklin Half Dollars by Rick Tomaska. DRLC Press, 2002. This is a very thorough reference work on the
Franklin Half Dollar series. The Book presents a date by date analysis for each year of the series. Both proof and business strike coins are
covered. Specialty topics, such as, Deep Cameo and Full Bell Lines are also covered in the book.
The Civil War Token Collectors Guide Including Complete Token Valuations Year 2002 by Bryon Kanziner. 2001.
Published by Valley Forge Coins-Books Division. The beginning of the book is a general introduction on the history of Civil War
tokens and gives some helpful information for token collectors. The book isn't heavily illustrated. The remainder of the book is primarily
devoted to the current prices (in 2002) for these tokens based on the Fuld ID number. The rarity for each token is given and price in
three grades F-VF, XF, and Unc.
Numismatic Photography, 2nd Edition, by Mark Goodman, 2009, published by Zyrus Press. This book is an excellent
"how-to" book on getting started with digital photography of coins. The book is loaded with detailed color pictures and examples to show
you how to take that great looking photograph of your coins.
Confederate States Paper Money by Arlie R. Sabaugh, 1990, published by Sanford J. Durst. This is a reprint a book originally
published in 1961. The book gives general coverage of the currency issued by the Confederate States of America during the Civil War.
This short book, only 68 pages, is a good olde reference with some interesting historical information on the currency of that day.
